Horizon's WindPitch is a miniature real-working wind turbine designed for students to evaluate its optimal output. Adjust the blade pitch, number of blades and blade profile and learn how these affect the power output of the wind turbine. Experimentation also teaches about stalling or reduction of the wind turbine's rotational speed to protect itself under strong wind conditions.
Included: Three different types of profiled blades (12 in total), one type of poly-propylene sheet blades, an LED / music module to demonstrate the power created from the wind energy.
