This simple all time favourite connector creates a water vortex in a bottle. It also indicates that in order for water to flow down, air must flow up.
The Tornado Tube simply joins together two plastic soft drink bottles in the shape of an hourglass with water used in place of sand. Simply swirl the liquid around and a twisting spiraling vortex appears. Great for class discussions on tornadoes.
