Super Expanding Creatures

Product Description

Experience the exceptional growth of these crocodiles in water to more than 27 times their original mass. (Our crocodile, as seen in the photo, increased from 77g to 1640g in a month!) 

Integrate math and science classes by making students graph and investigate the growth of these creatures in length, width, mass and volume. Then reverse the process by evaporating the water and shrink the creatures back to almost their original size. 

Please note: The creatures take 3 to 4 weeks to fully expand.  See instructions in the file below.
Teach: Super absorbent polymers, hydrophilic substances, osmosis, measurement and graphing skills and the scientific process.
Age: 7+ with adult supervision or as a demonstration for younger students.
