Salt Water & Solar Powered Car

Product Description

This hybrid car uses a simple, environmentally friendly ‘fuel cell’ to power the small electric motor indoors or at night. All you do is dissolve table salt in water and add a few drops of the solution to the cell. This creates a voltaic cell between the magnesium anode and the cathode that powers the car. When the sun is up, simply use the solar panel to power the car.  So all energy usage is virtually free and renewable! Can run for hours on end.

Includes three ‘fuel cell’ magnesium sheets, a fabric separator, car body, a solar module and air cathode.
