Product Description
The primary colours of white light are red, green & blue (RGB). The whitish glow of the ring is the result of fast flickering red, green & blue LEDs inside the ring. The human eye-brain cannot detect the individual flickers and the images are merged into one. So you perceive the colour as white - a principle known as "persistence of vision".
When you swing the ring bearing hand in a circle, the fast flickering images are spread on the retina and you experience the real colours separately. White light amazingly separates into the three primary colours! This reinforces that white light can be produced by mixing the three primary colours - the exact principle used for making up white on all computer and plasma screens.
Fascinating to watch!
