The Fun Fly Stick is an electrostatic wand that carries a positive electrostatic charge. It is the world’s first portable toy Van de Graaff generator and it too has a moving rubber belt on the inside.
The wand transfers charges to objects so they carry the same charge and are then propelled from the wand.  If gravity is balanced - the objects will levitate in mid-air. 

The 25 piece Experiment Kit includes all the materials for the most exciting experiments with static charges: bending a thin stream of water, moving a conductive cylinder, "electric wind", an ion motor, powering a neon lamp, electrostatic adhesion, flying saucers, an electrostatic motor, the electrostatic drummer, the concept of induction, and the Leyden Jar.
