Water is added to an empty soft drink bottle and positioned over the rubber stopper on the launch pad. The car tyre pump pressurises the air in the bottle and . . . the stopper releases the bottle up to 30 meters or more.

The pre-assembled launcher has an adjustable rubber stopper in order to adjust the pressure build-up (and eventual altitude) before launch. Experiment with double rockets and fins. 

Biggest advantage is this: No need for special rockets as you may use any size empty soft drink bottle. So if the rocket lands on the school's gym roof or in a tree - no worries. 

Required: Car or bicycle stand-up tyre pump (does not work with bicycle hand pump), plastic soft drink bottles (any size) 

Warning: High pressure build-ups are achieved.
