How do I place an order?
A. Educational Institutions:
All schools & educational institutions automatically qualify for an account.

Order Online and simply provide a school purchase order number. We welcome school orders in our online shop - no need to pay when ordering. Payment is only due on receipt of the goods but you have to submit a Purchase Order Number when ordering. Please select option Educational Institutions in the shopping cart and include a school purchase order number in the Additional Information box.

OR Fax / post / email your official institution order form with a school purchase order number and the list of items you require. Download a copy of our order form here if required.
B. Individuals: We have the following options available:

Order online and pay online by credit card using eGate. We accept VISA and Master cards. Please select the credit card payment option in the shopping cart.

Order online and pay online via PayPal. PayPal securely accepts VISA, MasterCard or Bank Account payments. Please select PayPal option in the shopping cart.

Order online and then phone, fax or e-mail your credit card details through. Please select Phone / email payment option in the shopping cart.

IMPORTANT: When you order, please ensure correct address info as that information is automatically copied onto the post parcel label.
I am not a teacher - may I order your products?
Certainly!! Our products are great for ages 3 to 90 and are available at the same price to all. Please note, however, that certain items may be restricted for sale to science teachers only, due to safety considerations.
I live outside Australia. Can I order from Prof Bunsen Science?
Yes, you certainly can. We ship to nearly all international destinations. Simply go to the online shop and fill the shopping basket with your products. Then, print the shopping cart pages and fax or email them to +61-3-524 44986 with your details. Alternatively email us a list of items you require using our contact page. Do not make any online payment as we have to calculate your freight charges and will email you your proforma invoice with payment instructions. There will be no GST charged to international orders.
Please note that international orders may be subject to taxes, duties, customs clearance charges or other charges levied by your Country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be due at the time of delivery. Please contact your local Customs Office for more information.
I have placed an online order but need to change or cancel my order?
Please contact our warehouse immediately (Abrama on 0405705010) and we will try our best to make changes before it leaves our store. If you contact us by phone (+61-3-52419756) please have your Order ID available. You may also send any requests by email.
Do you have a Back Order system?
Yes we do. If an item is not in stock then we will ship the main bulk of your order immediately and fulfill the order once the item is available. If re-stocking an item will take too long then we will contact you and discuss.
Where can I get a blank order form?
There is an order form in our catalogue but you can download one here.
Do you have an agent in New Zealand?
Yes. Crescendo Enterprises, Ltd in Auckland fulfill all our orders to NZ clients. They keep most of our items and may be able to supply you ex-stock. Their estimated NZD sales prices (excluding GST) are indicated throughout our webshop. What is your returns policy?
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If you are not 100% satisfied with any product, simply email us with the details. All returns have to be done within 30 days from invoice date and products have to be in new, unused and re-saleable condition. Some products might have a longer warrantee period though. We will refund postage only if the product is defect, broken or incomplete.
Who pays GST?
All prices on our website and printed catalogue are in AUD and include 10% GST. The rule is simple: If a product is shipped to an address in Australia then GST is payable. If it is shipped outside Australia (anywhere) then no GST is applicable. We will deduct GST from the total cost if applicable.
What type of credit cards do you accept?
We securely accept Visa & Master Card online via PayPal or via eGate (ANZ bank) or via phone/fax. We use SSL security on our website.
Is it safe to use my credit card online via PayPal?
Yes. When you shop online and pay with PayPal, none of your financial details are disclosed to us or anyone else. Your credit card or bank account details are kept securely with PayPal, invisible to everyone as no card details are transmitted. How much postage is payable?

When will you ship my order?
Most parcels are sent via Australia Post. We try to ship from our warehouse within two working days and then delivery is usually another 1 to 7 working days. This can of course not be guaranteed. If you require delivery urgently, indicate "EXPRESS POST" on your order form or email / phone us and we will quote you on an Express Post option (next business day, most Australian cities). Although we may provide express services, we cannot guarantee that your parcel will arrive in time.
Overseas parcels are sent via Australian Air Parcel Post and delivery can be anything from 4 to 15 working days, depending on destination. Collection by your appointed courier company can be arranged.
Do you have a retail outlet?
No we do not. Prof Bunsen Science has offices and a warehouse in Geelong, Victoria from where all shipping is done. We do not have a showroom. Many of our products are demonstrated or displayed at Science Teacher Conferences / Lab Tech Conferences. Please keep your eyes on our Newsletter or visit News on this website for dates & venues.
Can I get a printed catalogue?
Certainly! Please send us your postal details by clicking here. Our catalogue is printed in February each year which means that our website always has the latest products, prices and stock availability information.
I can't find an item on your website. What now?
There is a SEARCH navigation button in the left hand top corner of all pages of the website. Type in a keyword or item code or any word/s that might be associated with the item and click "search". Items from previous years that have been discontinued are not listed in the online shop anymore. If you have any questions – please contact us.
