Educational Institutions:
1. Order Online and provide a purchase order number
We welcome school orders in our online shop - no need to pay when ordering.
Payment is due on receipt of the goods but you have to submit a Purchase Order
Number when ordering. Please select Option 2 (Account) in the shopping cart
and include a school purchase order number in the Additional
Information box. This is applicable to all registered
Educational Institutions.

provide an order number.

may I order your products?
Certainly!!! Our products are great for ages 3 to 90
and are available at the same price to all. Please note, however, that
certain items may be restricted for sale to science teachers only, due to
safety considerations.
Where can I get a blank order form?
There is an order form in our catalogue but you can download one here.
I have placed an online order but need to change or cancel my order?
Please contact us immediately and we will do our best to change the order before it leaves our store. If you contact us by phone (+61-3-52419756) please have your Order ID available. If you prefer to contact us by email, send us your request by email.
Do you have a
Back Order system?
No we do not. We try to keep sufficient stock on all items but sometimes as
Murphy indicates, we may have just shipped a large quantity of an item as your
order comes in. We will then fullfill your order without this item and you
would need to re-order. We do not invoice items that are not shipped.
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If you are not 100% satisfied with any product, simply email us with the details. All returns have to be done within 30 days from invoice and products have to be in new, unused and resalable condition. Some products might have a longer warrantee period though. We will refund postage only if the product is defect or incomplete.
Australian clients
Most parcels are sent via Australia Post or Fast Way Couriers. We try to ship
within two days and then delivery is usually another 1 to 3 working days.
This can of course not be guaranteed. If you require delivery urgently,
indicate this on your order form or email / phone us and we will quote you on
an Express Post option (next business day, most cities).
New Zealand Clients
Most parcels go
via Australian Post and delivery can be anything from 4 to 10 working days.
I live outside Australia & New Zealand. Can I order from Prof Bunsen Science?
Yes, you certainly can. We ship to nearly all international destinations. Simply go to the online shop and fill the shopping basket with your products. Then, print the shopping cart pages and fax them to +61-3-524 44986 with your details. You can also send us your requirements using our contact page. Do not make any online payment as we have to calculate your freight charges and will email you your proforma invoice with payment instructions. There will be no GST charged to international orders.
Please note that international orders may be subject to taxes, duties or other charges levied by your Country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be due at the time of delivery. Please contact your local Customs Office for more information.

Our printed catalogue prices include 10% GST. Our online shop has prices listed exclusive and inclusive of GST. The rule is simple: If a product is shipped to an address in Australia then GST is added. If it is shipped outside Australia (anywhere) then no GST is applicable.
Do you have an agent in New Zealand?
No, we do not have an agent in NZ. We ship directly from Victoria, Australia to schools and individuals. This keeps the product cost down. See postage information above.
What type of credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa & Master Card on the phone / by mail and PayPal accepts the same plus bank accounts online.
Is it safe to use my credit card online via PayPal?
Yes. When you shop online and pay with PayPal, none of your financial details are disclosed to us or anyone else. Your credit card or bank account details are kept securely with PayPal, invisible to everyone as no card details are transmitted. No. Prof Bunsen Science has offices and a warehouse in Geelong, Victoria from where all shipping is done. We do not have a showroom as we market our products over a wide area. In 2008 we are planning visits to a number of cities in Australia (& New Zealand in 2009) so teachers and science enthusiasts can see, feel & experience our products first hand.
